Queensland jockeys will meet with the new the new Racing Queensland administration to discuss wide ranging topics including the contentious issue of work cover.
Queensland Jockeys Association President Glen Prentice met with riders at Doomben on Saturday to finalise matters they wanted to discuss with RQ.
Top of the list will be work cover and the new deal being offered by RQ.
“I can’t comment at this stage other than to say the meeting will go ahead on Tuesday,” Prentice said.
“We will have several issues to raise including work cover.”
Queensland riders have the lowest work cover cap of Australian jockeys.
