The weather holds the key to whether Group One placegetter Teronado heads back to Sydney this spring.
Teronado is on the comeback trail after he suffered a career-threatening injury when stripped on a hind leg in last year’s George Main Stakes at Randwick.
The gelding, third in Criterion’s 2014 Rosehill Guineas, has had two trials and two starts after a lengthy spell including an eye-catching third over 1350 metres on Saturday.
Teronado dropped out last but made up ground in the straight to finish a length from in-form galloper Steel Zip.
