Smith samples prove positive to cobalt

Racing NSW Stewards advised on Thursday afternoon that they are in receipt of certification from two Official Racing Laboratories that the post-race urine samples taken from horses that were trained by currently suspended Newcastle trainer Ben Smith have returned a level of cobalt above that excepted by AR178C(1)(l) of 100ug/L.
