Diademe inquiry set to resume

The inquiry into the possible race day treatment of Diademe which caused her scratching from a Group One race is set to resume in Brisbane.

The Bjorn Baker-trained Diademe was withdrawn about an hour before the Tattersall’s Tiara at the Gold Coast on June 20.

Stewards opened the inquiry after they received information from Integrity Regulatory Unit officers John Hackett and Norm Torpey.

The pair had visited the Gold Coast stables of Alicia Willick where the Sydney-trained mare was being housed and found five bottles containing liquid.
