Le Val my have to head south

Brisbane sprinter Le Val may head to Sydney after racing himself out of handicaps in his home town.

Le Val made it two wins from two starts this campaign when he came from second last under 59kg to win a 1200m Class 6 at Doomben on Saturday.

Trainer Noel Doyle makes no secret of the fact Le Val is up to open company if not even better but he has been plagued with injury.

Doyle, who trained such top horses as Stylish Century, Kinjite and Don’t Play, rates the injury-prone Le Val among the best he has trained.
