Melbourne Cup winning jockey Greg Hall (on Subzero in 1993) is suing Crown after an incident on Melbourne Cup night in 2013 which he says shattered his chances of a riding comeback.
Greg Hall has stated his hands were tied behind his back before being thrown to the ground and kneed in the back.
A Crown spokeswoman said in a statement to the Herald Sun: “Crown is well aware of this matter and will be vigorously defending the claim, but as it is before the court, Crown is unable to be more specific in its response at this time.”
