Dean Yendall has had four meetings shaved off a careless riding suspension on appeal to the RAD Board.
Yendall was suspended for nine meetings after winning a race aboard In The Moment at Mildura on Monday.
Sitting on top of the Australian jockeys’ premiership following a double at the meeting, Yendall was appealing the decision and the severity of the penalty.
While his appeal against the decision was dismissed, his appeal against penalty was upheld.
Yendall’s suspension commences at midnight on Wednesday and he can return for the Pakenham meeting next Tuesday.
